OTHER FINANCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS

  • TRIO - Students Support Services (SSS) program is a federally funded program and is offered to students who are first-generation, come from a low-income background, and/or have a disability.   This program is found in various colleges and universities. 

  • SSS Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) program is a federal program focused in encouraging underrepresented K-12 students to continue higher education and excel academically in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields.  Students receive advising and tutoring support from this program while in middle school and high school and continue receiving support at the university or college they plan to attend. 

  • EOPS program is a state program assisting first generation and low-income students.  EOPS focuses on advising and financial support throughout the four years of college education.

  • Other programs not mentioned here may be offered at the school/s you apply to.  Make sure to check them out.  Note:  Each program above has different requirements.  Make sure you check-out the requirements before you apply.
